Managing Director - Outsourced Accounting Services (CAAS) A growing New England-based CPA and advisory firm is seeking a CPA with extensive public accounting and outsourced accounting experience to lead its Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) practice. This role is ideal for a senior accounting leader currently overseeing

CAS/CAAS

engagements, outsourced accounting teams, and middle-market client relationships within a CPA or advisory firm environment.

Compensation:

$200-250K annually, plus variable pay Responsibilities Lead all CAAS engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and profitability Serve as a strategic advisor to middle-market clients Drive business development, new client acquisition, and cross-selling efforts Manage team performance, mentoring, staffing, and professional development Oversee KPIs, budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L responsibility for the practice Improve processes and leverage technology solutions, including Sage Intacct Partner with firm leadership on growth strategy, innovation, and market expansion Qualifications CPA required; MBA preferred 10-15+ years of progressive public accounting and/or outsourced accounting experience Strong leadership experience managing hybrid teams Proven success in client advisory, business development, and practice growth Experience working with middle-market clients ($5M-$50M+ revenue) Advanced accounting systems and technology experience Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation with partner-track potential Hybrid work flexibility Comprehensive benefits package Collaborative, growth-oriented culture This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting leader looking to drive growth, lead a high-performing team, and play a key role in shaping a growing advisory practice.
