Director of Accounting

About Us Reliant Care Management Company is built on integrity, work ethic, and competence—doing the right thing, every time. We are seeking a Director of Accounting to lead our growing accounting function across a multi-facility, long-term healthcare organization. Key Responsibilities Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team; set priorities and establish accountability
• Serve as key liaison between accounting, executive leadership, and operations Financial Reporting & Controls
• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities across multiple locations
• Review consolidated financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations per GAAP
• Oversee intercompany accounting, eliminations, and multi-entity reporting
• Design and monitor internal controls to ensure data integrity Compliance & Audit
• Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal and multi-state requirements Operations & Process Improvement
• Oversee general ledger, accruals, payroll accounting, and day-to-day operations
• Drive process standardization, automation, and reporting efficiency across facilities
• Partner with senior leadership on financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; CPA strongly preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal control expertise
• Multi-entity, multi-state accounting experience; long-term healthcare background preferred
• Sage Intacct or comparable ERP experience preferred
