Job Description

Job Summary:
The Director of Accounting will work directly with ownership and the leadership team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to support day-to-day decision making while ensuring efficient and effective operations through fiscal discipline. This role is responsible for all accounting functions . The person in this position should have high integrity and knowledge of general accounting principles. This is a full-time, year-round role that may require on-site contribution to events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounting activities include processing accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales invoices, credit card reconciliation, bank reconciliation, etc. Create, manage and distribute accurate financial reports in a timely manner (daily, monthly and yearly) Work with management to prepare an annual operating budget and report active performance to budget monthly Work with outside auditors on successful financial audit annually Support GM and Asst. GM with financial data and insight to improve operations Support all managers/employees in the business to make good financial decisions to support our annual financial plan Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes including working with other department managers closely Able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
