Job Description:
Our client, a developmental stage pharma company seeks a Director level Accounting professional to join their small but growing Accounting and Finance group. In this role you will be responsible for: Managing a team of 2-3 staff Driving the period end close process, resulting in accurate and supported financials, worthy of SEC submittal working alongside the head of SEC reporting Review and implementation of policies and procedures allowing for scalability to the business Work with outside vendors, auditors, bankers to ensure compliance. Experience working with stock plan accounting and ERP systems. Candidates for this role should have: 10 + years of experience between public accounting and corporate accounting, from a publicly traded company within the pharmaceutical industry with specific experience from developmental drug companies and exposure to the areas above
