Director of Accounting

Description A rapidly growing global entertainment company is redefining how audiences access premium content across digital platforms. Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Accounting to lead critical accounting operations across multiple revenue-generating entities. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and brings deep expertise in revenue accounting, financial reporting, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full-cycle accounting function across multiple entities, including general ledger oversight, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and related sub-ledgers
• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, account reconciliations, variance analyses, and compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements
• Establish, maintain, and enhance accounting policies, internal controls, operational procedures, and revenue-related systems to support a high-growth business environment
• Prepare and deliver management reporting packages, cash collections forecasts, and ad hoc financial analyses to support executive leadership and strategic decision-making
• Serve as the primary liaison for external audits and collaborate cross-functionally with FP& A, Operations, and Executive Leadership on financial planning, company initiatives, and process improvements
• Drive financial systems enhancements and lead special projects, including NetSuite optimization, system implementations, integrations, upgrades, and operational redesign efforts For immediate consideration please contact Ben.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Active CPA certification required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior experience within publicly traded media, entertainment, or ad tech companies strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite required
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
