•For more information, contact Jason Young @ jason.young@roberthalf.com or 937/637-7759• Our client is looking for a results driven Director of Finance to join their team! The Director of Finance is responsible for leading the company's finance and accounting operations, with a strong focus on inventory management, product costing, variance analysis, and financial controls. This role oversees the accuracy of financial reporting, supports operational decision-making. Key Responsibilities Oversee the FP&A function, including financial modeling, performance reporting, forecasting, and business trend analysis. Key leader in the annual budgeting process and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting activities. Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Analyze financial and operational variances and present actionable insights and recommendations to leadership. Manage inventory accounting processes, including oversight of physical inventory counts, reconciliations, and controls. Product costing and analyze product margins to support pricing, profitability, and operational decision-making. Partner with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to improve inventory management and cost performance. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections functions to support cash flow and working capital objectives. Ensure strong internal controls, compliance, and continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting. Support ERP optimization and system enhancement initiatives; SAP experience is a plus and prior ERP implementation experience is preferred. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA preferred. Must have a proven track record of leading, mentoring and developing a team of 5+ Strong experience with inventory management, product costing, and variance analysis. Experience overseeing physical inventory processes required. ERP experience required; SAP preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
