We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Cost Accounting to lead cost accounting and inventory-related financial functions. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment and thrives in a role where they can both lead and execute.Director of Cost Accounting Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems, including standard costing and overhead allocation
- Lead month-end close processes related to inventory, cost of goods sold, and fixed assets
- Perform and oversee detailed variance analysis across materials, labor, and overhead
- Partner closely with operations and manufacturing teams to improve cost visibility and drive efficiencies
- Analyze cost drivers and provide actionable insights to support margin improvement initiatives
Director of Cost Accounting Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, or operations finance
- Prior leadership experience required Director of Accounting -
