Corporate Controller

Vaco is partnering with an organization to find a driven and hands-on Corporate Controller to help lead and elevate our accounting function during an exciting period of growth and transformation in a private equity-backed organization. In this highly visible leadership role, you'll partner closely with the CFO to oversee financial reporting, revenue accounting, internal controls, tax, collections, and process improvement initiatives while helping build the scalable infrastructure needed for continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a growing accounting team with oversight of revenue accounting, collections, accounts payable, and general accounting functions. Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to improve revenue cycle performance, oversee complex billing and revenue recognition activities, and support acquisition integrations and system enhancements. Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team while ensuring compliance with US GAAP, managing audit relationships, monitoring key financial metrics, and supporting cash flow and operational performance initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required CPA designation is required for this role. 10+ years of progressive accounting experience Previous PE background is required. Previous M&A experience is required. Sage Intacct experience is highly preferred and advance Excel skills.

Compensation:

$180k-$200k base plus bonus

This role is remote, but our client is looking for someone who works in the time zone of PST, MST, or CST only at this time and these candidates will be considered.
