is looking for an experienced Director of Accounting to oversee financial accounting operations and support the continued growth of our organization. This role is ideal for a strong accounting leader with healthcare industry experience, a deep understanding of US GAAP, and the ability to manage financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, audits, and accounting team development.

Corporate Headquarters Baltimore, MD / Hybrid Role Overview The Director of Accounting will lead the company's accounting function, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and support scalable financial operations across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Ensure compliance with US GAAP and healthcare-specific regulations Maintain internal controls and safeguard company assets Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors Manage, mentor, and develop the corporate accounting team Improve accounting systems and processes to support continued growth Present financial information clearly to leadership and cross-functional teams Qualifications Active CPA license required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 5 years of healthcare accounting operations experience Prior Big 4 public accounting experience Minimum 4 years of people-management experience Advanced experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite Strong audit readiness, compliance, and communication skills This is a strong opportunity for an accounting leader who is ready to help build scalable financial processes within a growing healthcare-focused organization.
