The Senior Director of Payroll will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll operations while leading a talented payroll team of 5 individuals. Senior Director of Payroll:
Lead end-to-end payroll operations across the U.S. and Canada with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance Serve as the subject matter expert in payroll tax and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization across payroll systems and workflows Establish strong internal controls, audit readiness, and risk mitigation practices Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing payroll team, building depth through cross-training Partner closely with Finance, HR, and Operations to ensure seamless payroll integration and support business initiatives Support system implementations, acquisitions, and integration efforts Qualifications for the
Senior Director of Payroll:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including 5+ years in leadership Experience managing complex, multi-entity payroll environments Strong expertise in payroll tax, compliance, and multi-state/cross-border regulations Proven leadership skills with a track record of building and developing teams Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on when needed #
