Job Description

Responsibilities:
Evaluation of existing accounting reporting and identification of areas of opportunity to create additional efficiency and accuracy. Project Management - Creation/Enhancement of tools aimed at ensuring all initiatives are tracked, planned for, and executed upon with a focus on meeting deadlines with accuracy and clarity. Review of monthly reporting packages in partnership with leadership teams to ensure both accuracy and clarity. Abstracting of key documents for information relevant to adhere to reporting requirements (Loans, HMAs, etc.). TEAM mentorship and leadership aimed at supporting the team and providing valuable feedback to enhance the overall skillsets of the teams. Take a proactive approach when projects arise and provide executive-ready plans to address needs in a timely manner. Documentation of key processes through the use of narratives, flow charts, and risk matrixes. Support oversight of CapEx and Renovations accounting and analysis. Work cross-functionally with other leaders to identify areas of opportunity to create stronger partnerships and communication best practices.
Requirements:
8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience required. Proven track record of leading teams within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Demonstrated Strong project management and process improvement skills. Advanced technical accounting skills, including exposure to GAAP-based, Management, and Project Accounting.
