Our team owns, develops, operates, and franchises restaurant concepts across the United States. We are actively expanding our platform and are seeking a high-performing Director of Accounting to help support the next phase of growth. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization and work directly with executive leadership while helping build scalable financial systems and processes for a multi-brand restaurant platform. Position Summary The Director of Accounting will oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions for HN Capital and its affiliated entities. This individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing month-end close, overseeing cash management, and supporting leadership with financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a growing company environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting functions for multiple entities Manage month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and review monthly financial statements Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Coordinate with external CPA firms and auditors Support banking relationships and financing activities Develop and improve accounting policies, controls, and procedures Provide financial reporting and analysis to executive leadership Assist with franchise and restaurant-specific accounting requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA preferred but not required 5+ years of accounting experience Multi-entity accounting experience preferred Restaurant, franchise, hospitality, retail, or multi-unit experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills Experience with accounting software and ERP systems Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment What We Offer Competitive salary starting at $110,000+ Attractive bonus opportunity based on performance Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Direct exposure to executive leadership Opportunity to help build a rapidly growing restaurant platform Career growth and advancement opportunities If you are looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing company and help build the financial foundation for long-term growth, we'd love to hear from you.
