This leadership role will oversee complex federal and multi‑state partnership tax compliance and planning activities, working closely with senior leadership, internal teams, and external advisors across a multi‑state portfolio. This is a full‑time, onsite position based in Spokane, WA. Key Responsibilities Lead all federal and multi‑state partnership tax compliance, including preparation and review of complex tiered partnership returns (Form 1065 and related state filings). Direct advanced tax research on partnership‑specific issues, including tax deferral strategies, allocations, basis calculations, at‑risk and passive activity rules, and carried interest considerations. Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the organization's overall tax position across multiple jurisdictions. Manage and coordinate relationships with external tax advisors, CPAs, and legal counsel. Monitor federal and state legislative and regulatory developments impacting partnership taxation and advise leadership on potential impacts. Oversee tax provision calculations and support financial reporting requirements. Partner cross‑functionally with accounting, legal, and operational teams to support acquisitions, dispositions, and restructurings. Build, mentor, and lead internal tax staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Ensure the timely and accurate filing of partnership tax returns and estimated payments across all applicable jurisdictions.

128 hours first year and 10 paid holidays Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master of Science in Taxation (MST) strongly preferred. Active CPA license required. 5+ years of progressive tax experience with significant hands‑on exposure to partnership taxation and complex tiered structures. Demonstrated expertise in multi‑state partnership compliance and apportionment. Real estate partnership tax experience highly desirable. Strong technical research, analytical, and communication skills. Detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
