Financial Aid Representative Compu-Med Vocational Careers - 5.0 Oakland Park, FL Job Details Full-time $48,000 - $55,000 a year 9 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Financial services customer support Client inquiry handling Working with students Debt collection payment plan Student support Full Job Description Job Overview At Compu-Med Vocational Careers (CMVC), the Financial Aid Advisor plays a key role in guiding students and families through the financial aid process, ensuring they are fully funded, packaged, and prepared to begin each semester. This position provides counseling and support to help students understand aid options, maintain eligibility, and manage disbursements. The Advisor also ensures compliance while delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating with campus departments to create a seamless student experience. The Financial Aid Advisor reports to the Campus President and Director of Financial Aid. Duties Assist the student with filling out the FAFSA. Determine the student's title IV eligibility. Create cost estimates and explain funding options to the students and parents. Work with students to obtain the documentation necessary to process their aid if they are selected for verification. Create and Scheduling Payment Plans. Review weekly reports to ensure all students' financial aid has been processed. Submit financial aid packages to be processed by established deadlines. Ensure a low rate of return due to errors on all packages submitted to be processed. Provide excellent customer service and answers to student inquiries. Other duties as assigned. Pay:
