Director of Financial Aid Enrollment Support SCHEDULE DETAILS
Part-time (not to exceed 19.5 hours per week) Flexibility to work any shift within these hours is required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Position Summary The Part Time Financial Aid Processor provides administrative and technical support to the Financial Aid Office by assisting with data entry, document management, and the accurate processing of financial aid information. This position works closely with financial aid directors and specialists to ensure student files are complete, accurate, and compliant with federal, state, and institutional requirements. The role contributes to timely financial aid awarding and a positive student experience. Essential Job Duties Process and input financial aid application materials, including scholarships, grants, and loans. Receive, record, scan, and index financial aid documents into the student information system. Maintain accurate electronic records, reports, correspondence, and student files. Compile and enter data using integrated student information systems and imaging platforms. Review financial aid records for accuracy; identify and escalate discrepancies as appropriate. Assist with federal and nonfederal financial aid award administration under the direction of Financial Aid leadership and in accordance with college policies and procedures. Assist with adjustments and reconciliation of student financial aid accounts under established guidelines. Support compliance with Title IV, FERPA, and institutional policies and procedures. Assist directors and specialists with special projects and peak processing activities. Provide high-quality customer service to students and internal stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned to support Financial Aid operations. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities High School diploma (or equivalent) and 1 year of relevant work experience (business, financial aid, or higher education preferred). Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality of student financial, academic, and personal information. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established procedures. Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general database systems. Ability to comprehend and apply complex financial aid concepts and written procedures. Preferred Knowledge Skills & Abilities Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution. Experience using the Colleague financial aid management system. Prior experience in a collegiate or higher education setting. Demonstrated ability to follow complex oral and written instructions with limited supervision.
