Tempe, AZ•onsite
Schedule:
Mon•Fri 8am•5pm (some flexibility)
Compensation:
$25/hr•$30/hr About the role This position supports a high volume accounting team focused on pricing validation, billing accuracy, and accounts receivable related processes. This is not a traditional accounting role. It is heavily data driven and centered around reconciling transactions, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy across billing and revenue related activity. What you will do Review and reconcile billing and pricing data to ensure accuracy and completeness Support accounts receivable processes including invoice validation and discrepancy resolution Analyze large data sets to identify pricing or billing inconsistencies and resolve issues Perform reconciliations across multiple systems, ensuring alignment between billing, transactions, and GL activity Complete manual matching and data corrections as needed Partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve billing questions or missing documentation Work across multiple systems and adapt to shifting priorities based on business needs What you bring Strong ability to navigate systems, heavily utilizing Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables At least 3 years of experience in accounting, billing, accounts receivable, or pricing analysis Hands on experience with reconciliations, invoice review, and high volume transaction processing Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies Ability to work independently and manage large volumes of data Preferred qualifications Experience with Power BI, SharePoint, and Smartsheet MS Access experience is a plus Exposure to SQL is a strong plus Additional details While the title is Accounting Analyst, the day to day work is more aligned with pricing validation, billing analysis, and accounts receivable support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, resolving discrepancies, and understanding how systems connect across the billing to revenue lifecycle.
Pay Details:
