Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst compiles data, prepares advanced financial analyses, and interprets results in order to support present and forecasted financial health of the Company, and support business performance improvement.
Responsibilities Include:
Develops and recommends financial solutions for problems or situations, optimizes financial performance, maintains and improves operational and financial reporting. Preparation of various analyses which are relevant to the business unit.
Examples are:
NSA specific and overall revenue analytics Analyzing flight volumes and trends Monthly P&L variance analysis Assists in the decision-making process by establishing and reporting relevant KPI's and timely forecasts. Presents and reports current financial status on an ad hoc, daily, weekly, and monthly basis to the executive leadership team and other business leaders and customers. Collaborates with management on development and execution of funding strategies and resourcing requirements. Review monthly reports to provide variance analysis to Operations and other leadership teams Prepare and present project management reporting, including variance analysis, and communicate financial status and issues. Manages the preparation and publication of departmental, organization and customer financial documents. Assists with requests and follow up for various internal/external audits. Oversee various monthly activities such as loading data into system, producing weekly/monthly reporting as needed and other activities as needed. Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned by the Financial Planning and Analysis team.

Phoenix, AZ The Successful Candidate Will Have:
Solid understanding of financial planning and analysis, with foundational accounting skillset Undergraduate degree in Finance / Business / Accounting; MBA a plus 2+ years' experience working in a financial or accounting function with exposure to budgeting and forecasting processes. Experience utilizing ERP systems and technology driven applications (OneStream is a plus, but not required) Strong business and financial acumen with excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally. Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to prioritize, organize, and effectively manage time to work independently and meet deadlines. Critical thinking mindset to see the big picture with a proactive initiative to manage exposure and maximize success opportunities for the department and the organization. Strong focus on continuous improvement for processes and procedures Proficient with Microsoft Excel and an overall technology savvy skillset This position is designated Safety Sensitive for purposes of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act.
