Job Description

Job Summary A growing organization in the automotive and parts manufacturing industry is seeking a Financial Analyst for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Costa Mesa, CA. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working with detailed financial data, building reporting models, supporting leadership decisions, and improving budgeting and forecasting processes. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in financial planning and analysis, executive-level reporting, variance analysis, accounting support, and multi-entity reporting. The team offers exposure to senior leadership, cross-functional partnership, and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful financial decisions that impact business performance. Key Responsibilities
  • Support the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, monthly re-forecasts, and long-term financial planning activities.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, forecasting, and business decision support.
  • Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual performance to budget and forecast, then prepare insights, commentary, and recommendations for leadership.
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, PowerPoint presentations, executive summaries, and KPI reporting for senior management.
  • Prepare month-end journal entries, maintain journal entry files, reconcile assigned general ledger accounts, and support accounting accuracy.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis, special projects, process improvements, and support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as needed. Compensation and Benefits
  • Compensation:
    $60,000 to $80,000 per year.
