The Boeing Company's Defense Satellite Systems team is looking for a Financial Analyst to fill a Senior (Level 4) or Lead/Subject Matter Expert (Level 5) role in El Segundo, California . This Financial Analyst will be responsible for integrating the financials on a monthly and quarterly cycles. Creating customer's monthly, quarterly and annual Contract Data Requirements List (CDR's). The candidate must have the ability to communicate and present to executive leadership and help lead discussions on providing financial and potential risk, opportunities or issues recommendations. Position Responsibilities:
Senior - Level 4 Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and communicates cost and/or schedule trends, and assesses range of opportunities and risk s Develops performance reports and integration of variance analyses and provides clear, concise understanding of operational and financial performance to senior managemen t Works with Program/Project leadership team to handle a program baseline and implement Earned Value Managemen t Completes the monthly Forecast analysis and supports Customer deliverable s Lead/ Subject Matter Expert - Level 5 Performs all responsibilities outlined in Level 4 Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME ) This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Currently have a Bachelor's degree or highe r 3+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, or Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA ) 3+ years of experience with Earned Value Managemen t 3+ years of experience performing Estimates at Completion (EACs ) 3+ years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheet s Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienc e Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefing s Experience leading projects or team s Experience leading projects or teams with little direct supervision and drive project to completio n Experience with Deltek, COGNOS, COBRA, Earned Value Management software, and other accounting systems containing historical cost data .
