Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Fremont, California. In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing financial data, developing models, and supporting key decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cost accounting, financial modeling, and manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning and forecasting.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses to address specific business challenges or opportunities.
- Apply cost accounting principles to evaluate and optimize manufacturing product costs.
- Review and analyze inventory costs to ensure accurate reporting and valuation.
- Assist in the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Utilize NetSuite and other tools to streamline financial reporting and analysis.
- Support the development and implementation of standard cost accounting practices. Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis techniques.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, particularly in manufacturing environments.
- Experience with standard cost accounting and inventory analysis.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
- Proven ability to perform variance analysis and deliver actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
