Description Seeking an accounting‑minded analyst to support financial reporting through structured data analysis and reconciliation. Core Responsibilities + Prepare and maintain Excel‑based reports that support accounting and period‑end processes + Consolidate operational and financial data into structured schedules used for internal reporting + Reconcile datasets to source documentation and general ledger activity to ensure accuracy + Partner with accounting leadership to ensure data aligns with internal controls and reporting standards + Analyze variances and trends to identify inconsistencies or data gaps + Build scalable reporting files that reduce manual work and improve close efficiency + Support audits and reviews by maintaining clear, well‑documented reporting schedules Requirements Required Skills & Experience + Strong accounting foundation with hands‑on experience in reconciliations and financial analysis + Advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables, structured tables) + Experience translating raw data into accounting‑ready schedules and reports + High attention to detail and comfort working with large volumes of data + Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with accounting leadership Preferred Background + Prior experience in accounting, financial analysis, or reporting roles + Exposure to multi‑entity or operationally complex environments + Experience building Excel tools that support recurring accounting processes + Familiarity with documentation requirements for audits or external review Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
