Job Description

Ameriprise Financial is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paraplanner to join our team. In this role, you'll support a private wealth advisory practice by preparing comprehensive financial plans, analyzing client financial data, assisting in meetings, and placing trades. Additionally, you will play a key role in processing new business, ensuring all paperwork and client documentation is completed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare financial plans and reports using client data. Analyze investment portfolios and run projections. Assist in client meetings, providing insights and financial summaries. Place trades on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Process new business, ensuring all paperwork, applications, and client records are completed and submitted accurately and on time. Manage data entry, compliance documentation, and administrative follow-up.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. Previous experience in financial planning or as a paraplanner is preferred. Series 7 and/or 66 licenses preferred, but if not will need to obtain within six months of start date. Proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain high ethical standards.
Compensation:
