Full Job Description Job Title:
Portfolio Trader Location:
Long Beach, California or existing TSG location Position Overview TSG is seeking a Portfolio Trader to join our larger trading team. This position will assist with Trader duties across the practice and work with all 24 offices directly. The Portfolio Trader must build strong relationships with all TSG team members to ensure continuity of purpose across the practice. Portfolio Trader team members help to manage and trade our proprietary managed portfolios on a day-to-day basis, execute block equity trades, and handle fixed income transactions. Traders also liaise directly with Financial Advisors and Relationship Managers and participate in client meetings. Traders build relationships internally with Account Managers, Product Managers, Legal and Compliance counterparts, Operations teams, and other Portfolio Traders in addition to participating in internal strategy meetings. On a day-to-day basis, Portfolio Traders are routinely encouraged to provide creative solutions and develop key tools and reporting methods to support our Advisors. Key Responsibilities
- Perform managed account trades within our proprietary strategies.
- Delivering service on proprietary Advisory traded accounts, including re-balancing and updating strategies, and performance reporting.
- Execute trades across multiple platforms, including equity, fixed income and alternative investments.
- Contribute to Investment Team discussions and decision making.
- Communicate with clients and advisors regarding portfolio holdings, strategy, and investment outlook.
- Accomplish necessary operational and compliance activities.
- Perform additional duties related to advisor and client education. Qualifications
- Series 7 and 66 registrations are required.
- 3+ Years of industry experience with at least one year of trading or operational experience
- Ability to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Mastery of the Microsoft Tools suite, specifically Excel
- Extreme Attention to Detail

Salary Range:
- Base salary is $80,000 with performance bonuses that can bring your total comp up to $100,000.
Additional Requirements Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.
