Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst - Entry Level to support a non-profit organization in Los Angeles, California. This Contract position is ideal for someone who is eager to build hands-on experience interpreting financial data, preparing reports, and tracking market-related information in a mission-driven environment. The role offers an opportunity to contribute analytical insight that supports sound budgeting, reporting, and financial decision-making.
Responsibilities:
  • Examine financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas that require further review.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports that summarize performance, budget activity, and key financial findings.
  • Use data analysis techniques to organize information, validate accuracy, and support business recommendations.
  • Monitor financial market activity and gather relevant information to inform internal reporting needs.
  • Work with Bloomberg Terminal resources to collect market data and assist with financial research.
  • Support the preparation of forecasts, budget comparisons, and other analytical materials for leadership review.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify reporting needs and present information in a clear, useful format.
  • Maintain organized financial records and help ensure reporting is completed accurately and on schedule.
