Location:
Los Angeles, CALIFORNIA JOB DUTIES Description Under minimal direction, the incumbent is responsible for the full range of payroll functions for the Department of Medicine. Major duties include on-line processing of payroll transactions, UC Path/HBS entry and review. Collect, audit and process monthly and biweekly time reporting, and maintain leave accruals in support of an annual staff payroll across multiple fund sources. Provide technical support to all areas of Payroll for assigned divisions or clinics. Collaborate with HR areas to ensure accuracy of payroll processing. Hourly salary range: $32.67 - $49.71 JOB
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent combination of education and experience Analytical skills necessary to evaluate the cost effectiveness of purchasing options. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Ability to read and interpret terms and conditions of contracts Working level of proficiency in the use of standard spreadsheet and word processing software. Ability to set priorities and complete ongoing tasks with competing deadlines, with frequent interruptions, with high degree of accuracy.
