The Senior Asset Manager San Mateo, CA (onsite, full-time) Summary oversees a portfolio of leased/owned corporate offices, land, warehouses, and other assets. Focuses on strategic planning, financial optimization, lease negotiations, property operations, and alignment with corporate real estate goals. Collaborates with transactions/facilities teams; manages non-operational properties directly. Requires 7-10+ years experience, financial modeling expertise (NPV/IRR/DCF, Argus), and onsite presence 5 days/week.Key Responsibilities :
Develop asset plans for value enhancement, leasing/disposition. Execute strategies (acquisitions, entitlements, etc.); protect interests via document reviews. Manage budgets, forecasts, capex, financial analyses; track variances. Handle leases (negotiations, renewals, subleases); ensure compliance. Oversee operations, capex projects, tenant relations; visit sites frequently. Report metrics; collaborate with stakeholders, vendors for compliance/PR risk mitigation.Qualifications :
Bachelor's in Real Estate/Finance/Business (Master's preferred); certifications likeMCR/CPM/RPA
; Bay Area landlord/jurisdiction experience; strong modeling, negotiation, communication skills.Similar remote jobs
