Job Description

Summary Sales Finance Operations Analyst Intern role is a data-driven, analytical, and detail-oriented role. It intersects with finance, sales, and operations, offering a unique opportunity to understand how strategic financial planning drives revenue and sales performance. As an intern, they will actively collaborate with multiple departments, analyze revenue pipelines, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and help optimize our sales processes. This internship is approximately 10 weeks. Hours are not to exceed 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Assist in weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reporting, highlighting variances between actual results and forecast targets.
Sales Commissions & Incentives:
Support the administration and calculation of sales commission structures and track achievement against targets.
Process Optimization:
Identify bottlenecks in current reporting workflows and propose automated or streamlined solutions to improve efficiency.
Ad-Hoc Projects:
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, or deep-dive financial modeling to support strategic growth initiatives.
Knowledge and Skills Technical Savvy:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Index/Match, data visualization).
Analytical Mindset:
Strong quantitative skills with the ability to spot trends, anomalies, and stories within large datasets.
Communication:
Ability to break down complex financial concepts into clear, digestible insights for non-finance stakeholders.
Drive & Curiosity:
A self-starter mentality with a keen desire to learn corporate finance dynamics in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience Education:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
