Job Description

We are looking for a Data Entry /Financial Analyst to join a team on a contract basis. This opportunity is well suited for an early-career finance candidate who enjoys working with large data sets, maintaining accurate records, and using Excel to support day-to-day reporting needs. The role will focus on organizing financial information, performing reconciliations, and preparing spreadsheet-based analysis for accounting and finance stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update financial spreadsheets to ensure information remains accurate, complete, and current.
  • Retrieve routine and ad hoc reports from internal systems and prepare them for review and distribution.
  • Analyze and organize data in Excel using formulas and lookup functions to support reporting activities.
  • Build and refresh pivot tables, index-match formulas, SUMIF calculations, and other spreadsheet tools used for financial tracking.
  • Combine data from multiple worksheets and sources to create clear, usable reporting files.
  • Support account reconciliation tasks by reviewing balances, identifying discrepancies, and preparing supporting documentation.
  • Assist accounting and finance team members with data-driven requests and recurring reporting assignments.
  • Update existing Excel macros as needed to improve file usability and streamline recurring spreadsheet tasks.
