Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst Global Customer Services (GCS) Finance has an urgent need for the services of a Senior Financial Analyst to provide assistance to the GCS Finance team via the creation and ownership of a comprehensive business model and supporting documentation (including detailed Spreadsheet Models) throughout the FY23 Planning Process. We are looking for a spreadsheet and business modeling wizard to help us optimize the GCS P&L outcomes for the fiscal plans described. This role is a 6 month contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by Palo Alto Networks but through our trusted staffing partners. Your Impact Partner with GCS business and operations leaders to align business and financial goals Partner with GCS Finance team members on their individual portfolios to produce a cohesive end to end model for immediate and longer term (3 year) plans. Align with the FP&A leadership team to deliver regular updates based on the planning schedule. Provide insightful and actionable recommendations for decision making throughout the planning process. Develop and manage scenario models and in-depth analyses utilized for internal investment and operational decision-making. Your Experience Bachelor degree in Economics/Finance, MBA from top tier institution or equivalent experience preferred. 5-10 years FP&A experience showing strong career progression, ideally with tenure at the big 3 leading Accounting Firms or Top Tier Consulting firms. Experience and passion for Services businesses within the IT sector would be a plus. Advanced spreadsheet skills in both Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is essential. Experience with and/or a willingness to master data management from various financial systems, including SAP, SAC, BPC, Tableau, and other BI tools. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Deadline-driven, organized, and able to multi-task with the willingness to adapt to the rapid business and organizational demands that result from a high-growth environment. Independent with enthusiasm for solving unstructured questions and providing thought leadership. The Team The GCS Finance team supports a (USD)2BN world class Enterprise Support and Services organization. We are a close knit team of four and part of an effective and closely aligned broader FP&A team that share a real passion for cybersecurity and business growth. Our finance department deals with numbers daily, supporting infrastructure, dealing in automation, building elegant models and solutions to empower our business lines and solutions.
