OVERVIEW
The Almond Processor Administrative Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting the full range of administrative and operational support activities for the company's almond processing operations. This position ensures accurate grower and vendor administration and effective internal controls. The role works cross-functionally with operations, accounting, quality control, safety, logistics, and executive leadership to maintain efficient workflows, compliance with industry and government requirements, and timely, accurate reporting that supports informed business decisions.
ADMINISTRATIVE OPERATIONS
Grower Administration Grower contracts & amendments Intake documentation (delivery tickets, inventory entry, weight tags, samples) Pool accounting if applicable Detailed record keeping Grower communications & reporting Lien release and compliance documentation Grower onboarding Regulatory & Compliance Food safety programs
USDA/CDFA
reporting Almond Board of California assessments and reporting Weights & Measure compliance Record retention and audit readiness Procurement & Vendor Management Purchasing Supplies, packaging, chemical, parts Obtain Purchase Orders for all purchases Assist and work with company accounting in terms of vendor set up & W - 9 management Contract and pricing management Work with company accounting with Credit card & purchasing controls Assist company accounting with Vendor reconciliation if needed Logistics & Customer Support Sales order entry and documentation in coordination with company accounting Freight coordination paperwork Export documentation when applicable Claims, shortages and adjustments tracking IT & Systems Administration User access controls Become familiar and proficient with in-house inventory management systems (Almond Logic) Corporate & Executive Support Work closely with CEO Policy/SOP development Strategic planning support Be open to skill development, continued education, training, and mentoring
Light Accounting Skills Pay:
$24.28 - $29.24 per hour
