Financial Analyst/ Accountant Involved in financial planning, budget preparation, analyzing of financial statements and reports, performing research and analysis as may be required. Also assist in the month end close process, preparing financial reports, performing accounts reconciliation, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations and other accounting duties as assigned. Other duties include preparing and submitting to payroll the monthly package for the provider second payroll which includes on-call, directorships, stipends and other various miscellaneous payments, calculating provider incentive bonus payments in accordance with provider contracts, updating compensation changes in accordance with contract renewals, assistance with onboarding new and terming physicians, managing the discretionary business expense reimbursement process, and assistance with the processing of provider contractor payments.
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in business related field Proficiency in MS office product including excel Possess analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong communications skills Strong organizational skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple assignments Ability to communicate with providers and leadership regarding physician compensation matters
State/Federal Mandated Licensure or Certification Requirements:
None Bristol Hospital Mandated Educational Requirements:
General orientation at time of hire. Fire/Safety/Infection Control annually. Other programs as mandated by Hospital.
Special Requirements:
Proficient in P.C. applications and spreadsheet development and analysis Excellent interpersonal skills Project and time management skills Ability to work under pressure and within short time constraints in a complex system and business environment
Physical Requirements:
Extended sitting, together with occasional bending, reaching and stooping.
Work Environment:
Normal office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation.
