Trade Operations Analyst ARCOM Capital LLC Southport, CT Job Details Full-time $75,000 - $125,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Operations management Administrative experience Bachelor's degree Full Job Description ARCOM Capital is a Connecticut-based commodity trading advisor, founded in 2014, that specializes in global natural gas markets. The Portfolio Manager manages a discretionary strategy with support from a research team through a fundamental approach administered with exchange-cleared derivatives. The firm seeks to add an Operations Analyst to manage and improve the existing controls of the trading environment and oversee administrative requirements of the business. The individual will report directly to the Portfolio Manager within a small, focused team atmosphere and manage relationships with counterparts at exchanges, FCMs, brokers, and service vendors, including the firm's managed operations software provider and outsourced IT support.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Manage trade capture, allocations, risk/performance reporting and control of back/middle office utilizing the managed software provider
  • Understanding of the entirety of trade flow for futures and options transactions
  • Familiarity with the administrative operations and compliance rulebooks of primary exchanges, ICE and CME, as well as broader regulatory requirements of the
NFA/CFTC
as applicable to a registered Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA)
  • Maintenance of core internal documentation of policies/manuals and support in adherence to external investor or service agreements
  • Manage the IT needs of the organization in conjunction with the company's outsourced IT support
  • Manage all administrative functions and business filings to ensure smooth operation of the business, dealing with third party vendors as required. Ideal candidate will possess or have willingness to possess:
  • Advanced use of Excel formulas
  • Exposure to Bloomberg Terminal
  • Experience with Python or coding acumen . Knowledge and experience of commodity futures.
  • Ability to commute to office (Fairfield County, CT)

$75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
