Job Description
Description We are seeking a highly analytical and technology-savvy Financial Analyst for a contract assignment expected to last 6 months or longer. This role requires a finance professional with 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting who can support key business initiatives and provide actionable insights to leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Excel-based modeling, accounting analytics, and ad hoc reporting, along with the ability to work across multiple systems and data sources. This position will be onsite in Norwalk 3-4 days per week. Key Responsibilities + Build, maintain, and enhance complex financial models to support planning, forecasting, and business analysis + Support accounting and finance teams with analytics related to financial reporting + Generate ad hoc reports and analyses for Financial Reporting Managers and other business leaders + Prepare and analyze reports related to cash flow, supply chain, and revenue + Review large data sets to identify trends, variances, and key business drivers + Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting support + Partner cross-functionally with accounting, finance, operations, and supply chain teams + Translate data into clear, actionable insights for management + Improve and streamline reporting processes through technology and automation + Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial data and reporting deliverables Required Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field + 3+ years of financial analysis experience + Strong experience with financial modeling and analytical reporting + Experience supporting accounting analytics and financial reporting needs + Proven ability to create and run ad hoc reports for management + Experience preparing analysis related to cash flow, supply chain, and revenue + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: + Complex financial models + Pivot tables + XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP + Index/Match + Advanced formulas and data analysis + Strong technology skills with experience using financial systems, ERP platforms, and reporting tools + Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills + Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Requirements Preferred Qualifications + Experience with tools such as Power BI, SQL, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft D365, Workday, or similar platforms (
