Part Time Financial Coordinator
Our client is looking for a dedicated Financial Coordinator to join their team for 3 days on site each week. This role is vital in managing the center's multi-million-dollar annual budget and overseeing essential financial operations that support a dynamic environment of classes, programs, and events. The ideal candidate will bring a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to financial management, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while contributing to the center's strategic financial planning. Compensation
$28.00/hour
Responsibilities
Collaborate with staff to facilitate financial planning and ensure that fiscal objectives are realistic and attainable.
Address financial inquiries promptly and efficiently, supporting staff and students with expense reimbursements and related needs.
Review and approve requests for procurement and travel cards, ensuringpliance with policies.
Examine and enhance financial processes, rmending improvements to optimize efficiency.
Develop and maintain financial reports and create custom tools to meet evolving business needs.
Assist in preparing, analyzing, and reviewing budgets and financial statements.
Monitor monthly budget variances and ensure maintenance of accurate financial records using Airtable and other systems.
Oversee the processing and verification of invoices, journal vouchers, and travel reports, ensuring timely payments.
Conduct detailed financial reconciliations and produce reports to inform decision-making.
Manage revenue collection and oversee the deposit of iing funds.
Provide regular updates on financial status and projections to key stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-3 years of relevant financial or accounting experience.
Proficiency with financial management systems; familiarity with tools such as SAP, Airtable, or Workday is a plus.
Strongmunication, analytical, andanizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential data with discretion.
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience in academic or educational program administration is preferred.
