830a to 5p Overview Join our Accounting/Finance team as a Junior Financial Analyst and help drive accurate, timely financial information that supports smarter decisions across the business. In this role, you'll support the build-up of financial statements, analyze variance drivers and key data trends, assist with forecasting and budgeting, and contribute to process improvements—including automation and AI-related initiatives. This is a great opportunity to build strong financial foundations while partnering with finance and cross-functional leaders to improve profitability and performance. Required Skills Education & coursework: BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, or a BA/BS degree with coursework up to and including intermediate accounting
Experience:
0-1 year of experience in Finance (preferred) Ability to resolve conflicts/discrepancies positively and professionally Work independently to solve business issues and take initiative Strong ability to partner with internal teams and meet deliverables Demonstrated ability to identify risks and opportunities Communicate effectively in written and verbal form, including presentation skills Support financial analysis across areas such as accounts, sales, production, and other data Assist with reconciliation of: cash disbursement accounts payroll customer accounts other financial accounts Assist with annual audit support (gathering account information and documentation as needed) Support analysis of cost accounting and manufacturing variances Assist with allocation of expenditures to correct accounts according to departmental procedures Assist with bank compliance reporting Support daily reporting, KPIs, and ad-hoc analysis Assist with financial planning, analysis, and budgeting Support automation and initiatives involving artificial intelligence (AI) Nice to Have Skills Experience supporting process streamlining and implementing best practices across business functions Experience contributing to automation or AI-related initiatives Additional familiarity with manufacturing variance analysis and cost accounting support Preferred Education and Experience Preferred education: BA/BS with a major in Accounting or Finance, or BA/BS degree with coursework through intermediate accounting Preferred experience level: 0 to 1 year in Finance Other Requirements Full-time role scheduled on first shift and physically located at the main plant Work performed in the executive office near the manufacturing floor Requires sitting and some walking on the production floor Fast-paced environment requiring sound judgment and multitasking Exposure to loud noises, production environment, and cold/heat may occur May be required to work overtime as needed Ability to provide assistance to outside auditors during annual audit activities Ready to build your career in finance and make an immediate impact?
