Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated FP&A Analyst consultant. Reporting directly to the Controller and VP of Finance, this individual will play a critical role in driving financial insight and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate brings a analytical foundation, deep proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools, and experience within an inventory-driven manufacturing environment.
salary:
$40 - $50 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5
PMeducation:
BachelorsResponsibilities Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual income statements and financial reports to senior leadership. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, partnering with department heads to develop accurate financial plans. Conduct detailed variance analysis (budget vs. actual vs. forecast) and communicate findings with actionable recommendations. Build and maintain robust financial models to support strategic initiatives, capital planning, and business cases. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide real-time visibility into key financial and operational metrics. Analyze corporate financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that impact business performance. Partner with operations and supply chain teams to analyze inventory positions, COGS, and manufacturing cost drivers. Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. Leverage the IFS ERP system to extract, validate, and analyze financial and inventory data. Continuously improve financial reporting processes, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency and data integrity. Perform ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as directed by the Controller and VP of Finance.
