The Opportunity We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst- Operations to sit at the intersection of finance and operations and build the analytical foundation that drives how we run the business. This is a field-engaged, hands-on role for someone who is as comfortable on a job site as they are in a spreadsheet- someone who can turn messy operational data into clear, actionable insights that leadership and the field can actually use. You will report directly to the COO and be a key contributor to how we understand and improve performance across our truck and site network. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to the executive team and meaningful impact on how we operate day to day. What You Will Own Build and maintain operational dashboards and KPI reporting at the truck, site, and company-wide levels Analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in utilization, productivity, margins, and cost drivers Support weekly and monthly operating reviews with clear, actionable insights — not just numbers, but the story behind them Standardize reporting processes and improve data quality across systems Partner with ops, fleet, safety, and finance teams to answer key business questions and support decision-making Assist with ad hoc analysis and special projects as directed by the COO and leadership team What We Are Looking For Based in the Southeast US within our geographic operating footprint Strong financial and operational analytical skills — you can take raw, imperfect data and turn it into something useful Experience in asset-heavy, multi-site service businesses is required — you understand how trucks, routes, and field teams drive unit economics Comfortable working across both operations and finance; you earn credibility with field leaders and the executive team equally Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) strongly preferred Experience with ERP or fleet management systems is a plus Strong communicator — you can present data clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences Willingness to travel significantly across our site network — this is not a desk-only role Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; 3-6 years of relevant analytical experience Why Join Us High-visibility role reporting directly to the COO with real influence on how we run the business Ground-floor opportunity to build the analytics and reporting infrastructure for a growing, PE-backed platform Exposure to multi-site operations, fleet economics, and the full operating cadence of a growth-stage company Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Bulk Environmental & Industrial is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
