Client Overview Our client is a multi-location restaurant group with operations across the United States. Their business thrives on delivering outstanding guest experiences, supported by a dedicated team behind the scenes. As they continue to grow, they are strengthening their Accounting and Finance team by hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial operations. Salary/Hourly Rate $45/hr - $60/hr Position Overview Our client is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Senior Financial Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. This role will work closely with the Controller and Finance leadership to establish and enhance financial reporting capabilities while supporting the FP&A function. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, including partnering with the Strategy team to drive data-informed decision-making. This is a high-impact role requiring both tactical execution and strategic insight. Responsibilities Of The Senior Financial Analyst Partner with the Controller to design, build, and enhance financial reporting frameworks, dashboards, and management reporting packages. Support the FP&A function with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across business units. Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives. Analyze financial and operational data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Collaborate with the Strategy team to evaluate business opportunities, investments, and performance metrics. Improve data integrity and streamline reporting processes through automation and standardization. Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, variance explanations, and reporting deliverables. Prepare presentations and materials for executive leadership and stakeholders. Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and implement best practices in financial analysis and reporting. Required Experience/Skills For The Senior Financial Analyst 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and advanced Excel skills. Experience building reporting packages and working with financial systems/ERP platforms. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a hands-on approach. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with finance, accounting, and strategy teams. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Preferred Experience/Skills For The Senior Financial Analyst Experience working in a high-growth or dynamic business environment. Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data visualization. Exposure to strategic planning, corporate strategy, or M&A analysis. Experience improving or implementing reporting processes and systems. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
