Tasks Position overview The Senior Financial Analyst position supports the financial controlling for Sales business units and cost centers by assisting in the preparation of monthly financial management reports, evaluating project plans, forecasting, and budgeting. Strong analytical, accounting and communication skills are necessary for this position. This role requires the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Controlling. The PCNA Controlling team is responsible for preparing and reporting accurate financial performance information and directs the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with all departments to establish realistic and achievable targets and plans. Roles & responsibilities Primary responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the Sales departments. Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for Sales departments. Develop and improve financial reporting, analysis, and procedures for new programs and business units. Partner with senior management and department teams to evaluate projects, business cases, and financial performance. Support the preparation of financial presentations for management and the Board of Directors. Monitor compliance with internal controls, management policies, and reporting requirements. Analyze financial data to identify risks, opportunities, accrual adjustments, and reconciliation issues. Prepare month-end and sales-related reports, including PURe allocations, Incentives, PMAP, and CMP reporting, etc. Provide support for internal and external audits, as well as the
SAP S/4HANA
transition initiative. Serve as a technical expert, mentor analyst colleagues, and act as a cross-functional consultant for various projects and teams. Qualifications Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or equivalent required. Advanced degree and/or CPA preferred. Experience:
3-5 years of experience in corporate finance and/or accounting. 2+ years' financial planning & analysis experience or equivalent required. Must have experience with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations Skills:
Detail oriented analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles. Excellent quantitative, written, and presentation skills. Innovative, organized, and thorough with an eagerness to continue developing these skills. Ability to interact with of all levels of the organization in a team environment. Impeccable business judgment, ability to motivate colleagues and collaborate effectively to help influence senior leadership. Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint. Hybrid The salary range for this role is $85,000-$110,000. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
