Job Description
Description This position provides financial support and trade promotions analysis to the Sales and Marketing team to drive financial performance and improve customer engagement. This position is a liaison between the Finance, Foodservice Sales and Category Management teams to deploy and analyze trade programs with customers, validate deductions and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Note:
This is an on-site role 5 days/week. King & Prince Seafood does not provide employment visa sponsorship. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reconciles trade programs with customers and validates deductions to ensure accurate financial reporting Audits financial data to ensure that all data is being reported consistently/accurately Prepares weekly and monthly reports of sales, volume, margins, and trade spending. Provides Sales management team with profit and loss (P&L) reports for specific customers and/or products. Identifies potential trends affecting sales and trade spending and makes recommendations to support decision making by the sales team and category management. Assists Sales Management team with analysis of potential trade programs Evaluates and recommends process improvements to increase efficiency and service levels to internal and external customers. Exercises independent judgment to apply company guidelines and accepted accounting practices to process financial transactions and prepare reports. Effectively communicates with Sales Management team and brokers. Generates reports that may be requested from sales management team. Participates in projects as required. Participates in month end close procedures to include occasional Saturday hours. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance 1-2 years of general accounting experience preferred Proficiency with computer systems and MS Office applications, particularly Excel Ability to interact effectively and build rapport with internal and external parties at all levels Excellent critical thinking, analytical and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Ability and desire to advance in the organizationSimilar remote jobs
