Are you available for a temporary assignment that may last up to 3 months? Are you experienced in accounts payable duties, including processing receipts, invoices, consultant expense forms, and payment transactions? Contract Financial Analyst Focus People is hiring a Contract Financial Analysts for an assignment with a government-related client in the Clarkston, Georgia area . This assignment may last up to 3 months and will support accounts payable and fiscal processes. The selected candidates will work under general supervision and follow established accounting procedures, agency policies, and internal financial guidelines.

Location:

Clarkston area Schedule Monday through Friday 8 hour shift between the hours of 7:30 AM (earliest start time) and 5:00 PM (latest end time)

Pay:

$22.00 per hour The Contract Financial Analyst will perform accounts payable functions and related fiscal support duties. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and the ability to follow established financial processes. The ideal candidate will be dependable, professional, and comfortable working with invoices, payments, reports, and database-related tasks. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Perform accounts payable functions for consultant expense forms and required payout processes Process receipts and invoices for payment Record, monitor, and track financial transactions, including expenses, invoices, and payments Prepare and maintain financial reports Perform general office and database-related duties Follow established fiscal processes and procedures Complete other duties as assigned by management Minimum Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following: Associate degree in a business curriculum or related field from an accredited college or university OR High school diploma or GED and 2 years of experience performing accounting and/or fiscal control functions using PeopleSoft Preferred Qualifications Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, Accounts Receivable, or Accounts Payable Experience preparing detailed accounting and budget reports GAAP certification Professional customer service skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time Equal Employment Opportunity Focus People is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
