Robert Half Financial Analyst Peachtree City, GA Apply Description We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support critical planning and reporting activities for a Contract position based in Peachtree City, Georgia. This role will focus on turning financial data into clear business insights, helping leaders evaluate performance, identify trends, and guide decision-making. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, comfort with detailed modeling, and the ability to investigate financial questions with accuracy and speed.
Responsibilities:
- Develop financial models and analytical tools to evaluate business performance, forecast outcomes, and support planning decisions.
- Perform detailed reviews of financial results to identify variances, explain key drivers, and highlight risks or opportunities.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis in response to leadership requests, translating complex data into practical recommendations.
- Mine and organize financial and operational data from multiple sources to uncover trends and improve reporting quality.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to prepare recurring and on-demand analyses that support strategic and operational objectives.
- Assess the impact of tax credits and related financial factors as part of broader business evaluations and reporting activities.
- Prepare summaries, dashboards, and presentation materials that communicate findings clearly to management.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across reports, models, and supporting documentation while meeting project deadlines. Requirements
- Proven experience in financial analysis within a corporate, consulting, or related business environment.
- Strong ability to build and interpret financial models for planning, reporting, and performance evaluation.
- Hands-on experience with variance analysis and the ability to explain underlying business drivers.
- Demonstrated skill in completing ad hoc financial analysis under changing priorities and tight timelines.
- Experience using data mining techniques to extract, validate, and analyze large or complex datasets.
- Working knowledge of tax credit concepts and their effect on financial review or reporting processes.
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet-based analysis and strong overall quantitative problem-solving skills.
