Revenue Accounting Supervisor Position Summary:
Southern Point Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join its Revenue Accounting team. This position is responsible for reconciling and analyzing various revenue streams, including Habitat 2.0 COMM Program transactions, stock donations, donor-advised funds, IRA contributions, donated products, and pledge payments. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sell, reconcile, and record stock donations (20%) Review and provide coding instructions for donor-advised funds and IRA contributions (20%) Reconcile monthly and quarterly Habitat 2.0 COMM Program transactions (20%) Analyze revenue contracts, donor giving history, and supporting documentation (10%) Test pricing valuations for donated product transactions (10%) Complete revenue reconciliations and provide monthly financial analytics (5%) Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and accounting issues (5%) Serve as backup support for other accounting positions (5%) Perform additional duties as assigned by management (5%) Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting required Experience Minimum of one (1) year of accounting or finance experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Exceptional attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to handle confidential financial information Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience with Microsoft Access is a plus Preferred Qualifications Experience with revenue accounting and reconciliations Knowledge of nonprofit accounting practices Familiarity with donor contributions, stock donations, and pledge accounting
Work Environment:
