Full Job Description Financial Reporting Analyst Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid•2 days onsite, 3 days remote after training)
Employment Type:
Contract-to-Hire Compensation:
$35•40 per hour ($80,000•85,000 annual salary), based on experience

Business casual, collaborative team environment Overview We are seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to support year-end reporting, financial analysis, and partnership reporting activities. This role will work closely with accounting and asset management teams to review financial statements, analyze variances, and ensure accurate and timely reporting. Responsibilities Review audited financial statements, tax returns, and supporting documentation to identify discrepancies, variances, and reporting issues. Perform financial analysis and support quarterly and year-end reporting processes. Research and resolve reporting questions by partnering with internal teams, CPAs, and external stakeholders. Prepare Excel-based analyses and assist with process improvements, reporting workflows, and special projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 1+ years of tax, audit, financial reporting, or public accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statements, including how financial statements relate to tax returns. Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial data analysis. #FO9
