Finance & Data Analyst Intern Americaneagle.com is a family-owned web design, development, and digital marketing agency with a passionate belief in the power of technology to positively transform business practices. We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Data Analyst Intern to support billing operations, financial analysis, and data accuracy across internal systems. This role provides hands-on experience working with financial data, improving intranet data integrity, and supporting month-end processes. What You'll Do
Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records across internal systems and intranet tools
Identify, investigate, and correct data discrepancies and inconsistencies
Audit and reconcile billing data, including contract terms, modifications, and supporting documentation
Help track contract details (budgets, timelines, and financial terms) and monitor variances
Assist in analyzing billing variances (forecast vs. actual) and preparing reports for stakeholders
Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Project Management teams
Support process improvements focused on data accuracy, efficiency, and standardization
What We're Looking For
Currently a junior or senior pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve data issues
Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
Nice to Have
Experience with data entry, financial reporting, or billing processes
Familiarity with internal systems, databases, or intranet tools
