Finance Analyst

Finance Analyst:

Rockford, IL Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in financial operations, reporting, and strategic decision-making within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is more than a traditional accounting role . I t's an opportunity to contribute directly to process improvements, operational efficiency, and the financial growth of a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will enjoy digging into data, improving systems, and partnering with leadership to drive informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Reconcile bank accounts and monitor daily cash activity Oversee inventory accounting and support process improvements Assist with job costing and ensure accurate cost tracking throughout production Execute monthly close processes and maintain general ledger reconciliations Prepare financial reporting packages, KPI reporting, and variance analysis Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation tracking Support annual audit and tax preparation activities Maintain and update 13-week cash flow forecasts Partner with leadership to support Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) initiatives Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced financial transparency

Skills & Experience :

Education :

Bachelor's Degree in finance , accounting, business, or related field, preferred

Experience :

3+ years of progressive experience, including 2+ years in a manufacturing environment, required

Knowledge:

Strong understanding of inventory accounting & job costing , required

Software:

ERP systems, Paylocity, & Excel, required What W e
