This role partners closely with plant operations and leadership to deliver data-driven insights, improve financial performance, and support strategic decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning Analyze financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Prepare and distribute timely, accurate financial reports for plant and corporate leadership Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget, forecast, and prior year) and provide actionable recommendations Partner with plant leadership, production, and supply chain teams to evaluate operational performance, including labor efficiency, production volumes, and cost drivers Oversee inventory valuation and accounting for raw materials and finished goods, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards Analyze large datasets from ERP and other systems to support decision-making and improve profitability Support capital investment analysis, including ROI, NPV, and payback period evaluations Identify opportunities to enhance reporting accuracy, streamline processes, and improve financial visibility Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and applicable accounting standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required Minimum of 2 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food & beverage environment Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with ERP systems such as Sage, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements Solid knowledge of cost accounting and variance analysis Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders High attention to detail and accuracy Self-motivated and collaborative team player Work Environment & Physical Requirements Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk, and use standard office equipment Frequent interaction with plant operations, including time spent on the production floor Must be comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment with varying temperatures Exposure to common food allergens, including nuts and fruits, may occur Additional Information This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications.
