Overview The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for design, review, & execution of financial analysis functions including analyzing and reporting the financial performance of the company; coordinating development of and reporting against the annual operating plan and quarterly rolling twelve-month reforecast; provides analytical support of other accounting & finance areas as well as operations and other support functions. Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field or equivalent demonstrated skills and experience. Wire 101 completion preferred. 5 years of experience with financial analysis in a manufacturing environment preferred. 2 years of cost accounting experience preferred. Job Responsibilities Mentor other accounting & finance staff. Coordinate onboarding and training of new staff in the financial analyst group. Assist with onboarding & training of other new accounting & finance staff. Delegate responsibilities to financial analyst team & provide support as needed. Lead process change & improvement in the financial analyst group. Responsible for developing, analyzing, and reporting against a consolidated annual operating plan including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flows. Design & improve planning methodology and system setup. Determine appropriate ownership of key plan data and drivers. Support stakeholders of key plan data inputs by consulting on design of planning processes including cash forecasts, revenue forecasts, headcount plan, inventory & demand planning, overhead estimates, and capital expenditures. Review consolidation logic applied to the business unit data for final operating plan. Lead accounting & finance management review and adjustment of final plan. Review and adjust quarterly rolling 12-month financial reforecasts using updated input from key stakeholders. Review or create and distribute monthly cash forecast and analysis. Oversee monthly cost center reporting and benefits review with quarterly review of variance to plan with managers. Analysis of monthly and quarterly financial performance. Assist in review and analysis of GL reconciliations. Review & distribute notes to financials on a monthly basis. Prepare or review quarterly financial performance executive summary and present to executive staff. Design of financial analysis reports. Assist in design of chart of accounts, hierarchies, & financial statement reports. Provide analytical support and recommendations to all areas of the company. Support executive team in strategic planning initiatives and analyses. Train and educate staff on financial concepts. Assist with GL entry review & approval. Perform other duties as requested by management. Skills Needed Able to prioritize, collaborate, and delegate efficiently. Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects. Attention to detail. Computer proficiency. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Ability to develop working relationships with people of varying backgrounds and skills. Able to work without close supervision and be capable of self-checking completed work. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Fast-paced office environment. May be required to travel between facilities. Typical work hours consist of 45+ hours per week.
