Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a contract/temporary opportunity in Wheatfield, IN within the energy and utilities industry. This role is ideal for an experienced finance and accounting professional who can support acquisitions, major projects, strategic initiatives, financial reporting, and complex accounting analysis. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to evaluate financial data, identify accounting risks, validate complex models, and provide guidance on high-impact business decisions. Key Responsibilities Provide financial and accounting support for acquisitions, major projects, and strategic business initiatives. Analyze financial data, accounting documentation, and project materials to identify potential financial and accounting risks. Assess the financial reporting impact of accounting issues under applicable accounting standards, including

U.S. GAAP.

Develop, review, and validate complex financial models to ensure accuracy and appropriate accounting treatment. Support financial statement reviews, reporting processes, accounting investigations, and special project analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams while providing technical guidance, training, and support to junior team members.

Compensation and Benefits Pay range:

$30 to $48 per hour.
