We are seeking a motivated, intellectually curious, and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will be instrumental in supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting to support leadership decision-making. The Finance Analyst will develop financial models, analyze business performance, and provide insights that shape company strategy and resource allocation.

Salary:

$55,000 - $65,000 What you'll do:

Financial Planning & Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning in collaboration with the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. Maintain and update financial models to assess business performance and scenario planning. Work with Operating Companies to understand key performance indicators and the drivers of those performances.

Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with variance analysis against the budget and forecast. Track key financial and operational KPIs, providing actionable insights for management across departments, including operations, sales, marketing, human resources, safety and fleet, and leadership. Consolidate financial results across departments, business units, or regions. Understand and communicate balance sheet and cash flow trends across the organization.

Strategic Support:

Ability to create ad hoc reporting and financial models to quickly provide strategic insights to stakeholders. Partner with the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to automate manual processes and enhance reporting capabilities as needed. Support M&A, financing, or other strategic initiatives, as needed. Ability to adapt to evolving business needs and prioritize effectively.

What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 0-2 years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, or related financial roles. Advanced Excel or Google Sheet and financial modeling skills required. Familiarity with ERP and planning systems (NetSuite, Cube, and data visualization software experience is a plus ). Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill financial insights for non-finance stakeholders. Intellectual curiosity and a desire for continuous improvement are vital traits for candidates who will be successful in this role.
